Samuel Akerman

Sam is a partner and a member of the Technology Group. He is responsible for developing and optimizing systems, processes, analytical tools, and applications to provide technological solutions across the firm, leveraging a strong background in finance. Joining Martingale in 2018, Sam brings more than nine years of experience from a range of software and financial companies, including State Street Associates and Telefonica, Venezuela’s largest private mobile operator.

Sam earned an M.S. in computer science and an M.A. in international economics and finance from Brandeis University, and an undergraduate degree in engineering from Universidad Católica Andrés Bello.
