Co-ChairBill is a founding partner and a member of the Board of Directors. He advises on firm strategy and is a member of the Investment Team. He is also a member of the Brokerage Committee. Bill served as the firm’s Chief Investment Officer for more than 25 years and as Chief Executive Officer from 2016 to 2024. Prior to founding Martingale, Bill was a Trustee and Vice President of Batterymarch Financial Management from 1984 to 1987, where he was involved in quantitative research and portfolio management as an investment strategist. Before joining Batterymarch, he was a Vice President of J.P. Morgan Investment Management where he began his career as a research analyst.
Bill graduated from Lafayette College cum laude with a B.A. in mathematics and economics. He earned his M.B.A. at the Wharton School. Bill is a CFA charterholder and subject of Harvard Business School and Columbia Business School case studies on Low Volatility investing.
